Campus Ministry

If you are interested in learning more about the Bible, have some questions about faith, or would just like to be around positive and friendly people, we would love for you to join us for a Bible study! We are a group of students (and some other folks) who meets during the week for the very same reasons. The meetings last about an hour, plus some time for dessert if you’re interested. We schedule meeting times around the group members’ schedules so the best way to find out time and place is to call the church office at (303) 279-3872.

Like all of the small group studies that the Golden Church sponsors, the college group has three objectives: to be a place where people love each other unconditionally, where we accept each other for where we are spiritually, and to grow God’s kingdom. In this context, we have a weekly Bible study where we get together, look into scripture, sing a little, and pray a little. Most of the group has a Colorado School of Mines background, but all are welcome at these meetings regardless of age, education, personal beliefs or background.

In addition to our weekly meetings, we schedule a retreat during each semester when folks can "get away from it all," (usually into the mountains). Several members of the group attend Sunday morning services at the Golden Church of Christ, and we often get together on an informal, social basis. It’s a very casual and friendly atmosphere and we invite you to see it for yourself.
