The Bible teaches that "the prayers of a righteous man can accomplish much." This statement comes at the end of a section of scriptures that encourages those who are sick or suffering to pray and have others pray for them. (James 5:14-17). It is with this thought in mind that we carry on a ministry of prayer at the Golden Church of Christ.

• Please pray for Rex Ricker and his business which has been impacted by false accusations by a former employee. Pray that Rex will feel God's comforting Love surrounding him and the right decision will be made concerning this matter
• My sister Ashlund who is in Mountview/Jail
  The Situation: She has been there for almost two years, she is 16, and just isn't getting better.  I miss her, and I want her to come home.  But she will do good for a while, and then she will have a bipolar episode.  I really care about her.  Please pray for her.
• Everette Bird who has dementia and is unable to walk due to extreme fear of falling.  He also tries to get out of bed unassisted which is unsafe since he cannot stand without assistance.  his digestive problems.
• Henry E Sumpter Jr. from Greensboro, North Carolina. I would greatly appreciate it if you could pray for a financial blessing to keep my home from being foreclosed, assistance in bills (credit cards, loans, Internal Revenue Service), and save my only vehicle. I realize I am in the same boat as millions of Americans are going through. I do not deserve any special treatments, just a little miracle.
